Corcoran Unified School District combines technology and education in order to provide our students with opportunities they might not otherwise have, leveling the playing field when it comes to academic achievement. Anytime, Anywhere

We provide our students with access to technology for educational purposes 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Here is a glance at the devices we provide by grade level:

Grades K–3 – Bret Harte School and John C. Fremont School

  • Promethean interactive whiteboards with student response systems in each classroom
  • MacBook Pro laptops for teachers
  • Each classroom has a 1:1 student to Apple iPad device ratio (Grades K–3)
  • 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networking

Grades 4–5 – Mark Twain School

  • Promethean interactive whiteboards with student response systems in each classroom

Grades 6–8 – John Muir School

  • An Apple iPad with a WIMAX router for home Internet access for students

Grades 9–12 – Corcoran High School

  • MacBook Pro laptop for teachers
  • An Apple Macbook Air laptop with a WIMAX router for home Internet access for students
  • iPad carts for certain apps
  • 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networking
  • 1 Mac lab
