Steve White

Trustee Steve White is a lifelong resident of Corcoran. He is a 1968 graduate of Corcoran High School. Following high school, he attended Grambling University in Louisiana for three years and Fresno State University for a year. He is a longtime employee of Lakeland Dusters and serves as its office manager.

Mr. White’s family consists of two sons and two grandchildren. His community involvement includes nearly 20 years with Corcoran Community Theatre and he assists the Corcoran High School Drama Club with their productions.

He chose to run for a school board position when he heard there was a vacancy on the board in his area (Area 1). Mr. White felt he could contribute to his community by helping assure Corcoran students receive a topnotch education. His motto is “Kids First” and he uses that as a guiding principle in helping to make decisions for the District.
