Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation
The Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Department of the Corcoran Joint Unified School District is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and implementation of all maintenance projects districtwide. The department ensures the proper repair, preservation, and functionality of district-owned facilities and infrastructure. This includes emergency repairs, health and safety compliance, vandalism response, routine and preventive maintenance, and deferred maintenance initiatives.
M&O also manages all custodial and groundskeeping operations at each school site. These essential services contribute to maintaining clean, safe, and visually welcoming campuses that support student achievement, staff well-being, and foster a sense of school pride and community engagement.
The Transportation Department is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of students throughout the district. This includes daily morning and afternoon bus routes, as well as transportation for extracurricular activities, athletic events, and educational field trips. The department is committed to making informed, safety-focused decisions to ensure that all students are transported to and from school and district-sponsored events reliably and responsibly.

- Plan A = 2 hour delay (in-town buses on time)
- Plan B = 4 hour delay (in-town buses on time)
