Activating Your Account

• An email was sent inviting you to activate your account. in ParentSquare. This would show up from donotreply@parentsquare.com
• By clicking on Activate your account, you will be taken to a webpage where you can create a password and officially register your ParentSquare account.

Signing In To Your Account

• Once you have activated your account you can simply “sign in” to access your ParentSquare account. You can find the sign in page at: www.parentsquare.com

• Enter your email and password and click the Sign In button to access your account.

• If you can’t remember your password click on Forgot Password? to reset it.

Update User Settings via Web Browser

You can update your notifications & settings from your account page:

• Turn on email/phone/app notifications.

• Set messages to be sent to you instantly or daily in a digest message.

• Update your language preferences.

To do this follow the steps below:

• In ParentSquare, click on your user name located in the upper right corner of the page.

• To update notifications settings: click on Notification Settings located in the left sidebar menu. Then update your notifications to fit your preference. 

• To update language settings: click on Language Settings located in the left sidebar menu. Then choose your preferred language. 

Downloading the App

You can only activate your account via text or email BUT you can use the app to sign in and access your account (once your account has been registered). We highly recommend downloading the app and making it your primary method for using ParentSquare.

Signing In To Your Account

Once you have registered your account via text or email and downloaded the app, you can sign into ParentSquare via the app by: 

1. Opening the app.

2. Enter your email address or cell phone number (that you had on file with your student’s middle school).

3. Click Continue.

4. You’ll be asked to enter your password.

5. Click Sign In.

Update User Settings via App

You can update your notifications & settings from your account page:

• Turn on email/phone/app notifications.

• Set messages to be sent to you instantly or daily in a digest message.

• Update your language preferences.

To do this follow the steps below:

• In the ParentSquare App, tap on the icon in the upper left icon (three horizontal lines).

• Tap on Account in the left sidebar menu.

• To update notifications settings: tap on Notifications. Then update your notifications to fit your preference. 

• To update language settings: tap on Preferences. Then tap on Language to see options to update your preferred language. 

If your registration link expired, you will need a new one. Please contact your school's admin or send an email to support@parentsquare.com and ask for a new link to be sent to you. 

Please check your spam to see if any ParentSquare messages ended up there, and mark them as "Not Spam." Also add donotreply@parentsquare.com to your email contacts so your server recognizes our messages. If you still are not receiving emails, please contact support@parentsquare.com for further assistance.

If you wish to add another child to your account, you will have to ensure your school's information system has registered your contact information and you are associated with your child. ParentSquare will always reflect the most current information we have received from the school's information system. 

Please go to parentsquare.com and on the login page click "Forgot Password". Put in your email or phone number and you will be sent a link to reset your password. 

Unfortunately, you can't edit your contact information in ParentSquare as that information syncs with our student information system, Aeries. Contact your school site if would like to make changes to your contact information. 

You can customize your language settings by going to "My Account" and clicking "Change This" under language settings. From here, you can choose any language you prefer from the drop down menu and you will start to receive content in that language.

You can customize your notification settings by going to your homepage and clicking on your name in the top right corner and selecting "My Account" from the drop down menu. On your account page, you can find your notification settings in the top right corner and click "Change This" to customize your notifications. If you are receiving too many notifications, try changing to your Digest setting where you will only receive one condensed message in the evening.

Contact your child's teacher privately by using our direct messaging tool. On the home page, click on "Messaging" in the left sidebar. From here, you can send a direct message to your child's teacher that only you and the teacher can see. You can also send messages to other staff members at the school, such as your child's coaches and club leaders.
