Registration and Immunizations

Thank you for choosing Corcoran Unified School District. If you are new to the area or have a child ready to enroll in school, we would like to welcome you to the CUSD family. This page provides information regarding our registration process as well as the documents you will need to get started.

First Time Enrollment

Enrollment for students new to the district is available. Our student handbook is located under the parent and student quick links on the Home page for your reference. We have included all other required forms on the side of this page for your convenience. If you have email please access our online student enrollment system to begin the process. Otherwise, please contact one of our school offices to register, and please be prepared to provide the following materials and information:

  • Legal evidence of birth
  • Proof of residency within the Corcoran Unified School District borders
  • Immunization record

Returning Student Registration

There are two ways to update your child’s registration information. You can go to the school office, or you can do it online. To update their registration information online, you will need to have an Aeries Parent Portal account, which you would get from your child’s school. If you already have one, please use Aeries Online Enrollment to update their registration information.

For your reference, our student handbook is located under the parent and student quick links on the Home page. We have included all other required forms under the "Forms" heading for your convenience. Please contact one of our school offices to register, and be prepared to provide the following materials and information:

  • Legal evidence of birth
  • Proof of residency
  • Immunization record

Pre-K/Kindergarten Registration

Eligible children must be five years old on or before December 2 of the current school year to enroll in one of Bret Hart Elementary School’s two kindergarten programs. A child whose birthday falls:

  • on or before September 1 of the current school year will enroll in the standard, one-year kindergarten program;
  • on September 2 through December 2 of the current school year will enroll in transitional kindergarten, a two-year kindergarten program.

Immunizations

All students enrolling in Corcoran Unified School District must present an immunization record with the required, age-appropriate immunizations, according to the California Department of Health Services. We require students to be up to date on the following immunizations:

  • DPT (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis)
  • Measles
  • Rubella
  • Mumps
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella (chicken pox)
  • Tdap booster is required for 7th–12th graders
