A Message from Our Superintendent

The Corcoran Joint Unified School District is honored to welcome Eduardo Ochoa as the new superintendent.

After graduating from Corcoran High School as a Boswell Scholar, Eduardo Ochoa attended Stanford University. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and a master’s degree in education. As a product of Corcoran Joint Unified School District, Mr. Ochoa has a great desire to give back to the community in which he grew up. He previously served CJUSD as a high school math teacher, high school administrator, elementary principal, and district director. He was selected as the Kings County Administrator of the year for 2008–2009. Mr. Ochoa is currently serving the Lemoore Union Elementary School District as the assistant superintendent.

“I am honored to have been selected as the new superintendent for Corcoran Unified,” said Mr. Ochoa. “I’m grateful to serve in this capacity, and I look forward to this wonderful opportunity to work on behalf of the students, staff, families, and community of Corcoran. Together, working with our district stakeholders, we will make student-centered decisions to continue moving our district in a positive direction and improve the educational outcomes for all of our students.” Faculty posing with the new superintendent Guadalupe Solis
